Pascal is very flawed and had no business beating Chad but Chad is flawed himself...

Chad backs straight up, he gets lazy in there and keeps his hands too low at times, Diaconu clocked him a few times when he tried to be more aggressive...

Bernard's awkard fighting would leave Chad clueless IMO...Chad may be tall but I think Bernard would never allow him to set up that 1-2 and force Chad to fight small because he can't get his punches off...

I like Chad but nobody with a LOW workrate is beating Bernard...only people with high workrate are gonna give Bernard trouble...Pascal had a high workrrate...for the first 4 rounds...

pascal was the dirty fighter in both their fights, throwing non stop rabbit punches, low blows, and the most blatant last night was the sideways head butts he was throwing in the clinches.

chucking his head to the side into hopkins head, and never warned once, **** that shidt, pascal couldn't hang so he tried fouling to get hopkins to retaliate and have points taken away, and never once did hopkins complain or try to draw a point being taken away from pascal.

pascal's style is exciting but will lead to a short lived career..... hopkins isnt about that, he's about winning and about making history...... fighting like an amateur isnt going to make anyone any better or have a great career.....

you're a fool if you think hopkins style of fighting is " running for 12 rounds ", it's pure science...... just because you like reckless abandon in your fighter with limited skill, i prefer a master technician who has a extremely high level of skill and KNOWS HOW TO USE IT...... AND WHEN TO USE IT...........TO WIN!!!!

and the poke in the eye, it was an old school tactic, but it was done on the end of a punch, not in a clinch and a rabbit punch like pascal in both fights.........

besides, it's a fight, pascal fought dirty, and still lost, no matter what pascal did, he went right into doing something dirty, and as a REAL fighter, hopkins didn't complain, hopkins whooped up on old boy, and obliged pascal with tactics of his own to let him know that he wasn't going to be bullied around and wasn't going to let pascal foul him without anything coming back at him......


pascal, as much as i like him as a fighter, is a one trick pony, he had a chance to evolve his game and bring something new to the table, and he didn't, hopkins did, hopkins made adjustments and brought them into the second fight, hopkins even stepped up his punch output, pascal did not, pascal had no answers, he had no REAL plan, all he has and had last night was his athleticism, nothing else........


it takes more than being a good athlete to beat a REAL fighter.......... and pascal has found that out twice.... because a draw in your own hometown by your own promotion is a loss...... i don't care what anyone says, that is a fact that has been played out throughout history.......

Hopkins is afraid he would look crude against a crafty defensive fighter like Chad Dawson and lose a decision, so I think he'll continue to duck Dawson.
