lol Dawson is a much better boxer than Taylor, he's like 3X better than Taylor. Good solid points though, but Dawson will be too quick for Hopkins. Dawson is a different boxer than Pascal, he doesn't wing his punches or leave himself open for straight punches. It doesn't matter how good Bernard moves, Dawson can fight in all angles. And I don't care how good Hopkins defense is, when Dawson is throwing 4-5 punch combinations he goes to the head and body, they will land.

Dawson is better technically than Jermain but he doesn't possess Jermain's workrate...

Dawson isn't sloppy like Pascal but he does leave himself open at times, especially when he's coming in on someone...

I hear you about the 4-5 punch combos but it seems like Chad only throws them really when his opponent is on the ropes or completely stationary...and Bernard isn't gonna be sitting there waiting...

I'm not hatin on Chad, I like him cuz he has skills but I think Bernard would take away his strengths...I think the Pascal loss was more than Chad being not focused...

Hopkins is going to **** Dawson up. I'm glad to see the Dawson bandwagon is back and alive again, but I have no idea why. He looked like **** vs Dicanou to me. He looked somewhat impressive at times when he traded back, but he got hit way too much.

Hopkins would drill him with the right hand over and over again. Dawson is fast, but he'd be confused by Hopkins. He didn't know what to do against Pascal's awkward style, what's he going to do against Hopkins?

And Iceta is right, Hopkins has looked way better against all of their common opponents. That's when they were younger too.

People who say Hopkins is scared of Dawson are a joke, the reason Hopkins hasn't been reluctant to fight Dawson is because Dawson can't draw for sh.it and B-Hop wanted to fight somebody that brought in more money (Pascal, even an old Roy).

Dawson has way too many flaws that Hopkins can exploit. He has a ton of skill but can't put it together smoothly, and like Pascal he only fights in spurts and flurries. I also think Pascal hits way harder. I noticed last night Dawson is a type of fighter who doesn't know weather he want's to be a defensive counter puncher or an aggressive pressure puncher that gets him in trouble. With that said I do think it's a tough fight for Hopkins but a very winnable one even at his ancient age.

Hate to say I don't want the 2 top guys in a division to fight for the crown, but Hopkins vs Dawson would be so mercilessly boring I'd rather they skip it and fight other opponents.
