I haven't heard that much from David Diaz after the fight with Pacman.

I am shocked that you completely missed David Diaz vs. Humberto Soto which was the main undercard fight to Pacquiao-Clottey.

I've seen his last fight in the UIC Pavilion in the lower level live. Take my word for it, Diaz is done. Feather Fisted Robert Frankel, gave him all the trouble in the world, fighting his fight.

It was embarrassing to watch.

Valero may not have had the resume of Diaz and Casamayor but he was a tougher challenge. Just like Soto was a tougher challenge than Rocky Juarez.

Edwin Valero would have been an exciting fight, but you have to remember that their were problems with him and getting a fight in the US because of his accident and DWI issues. And remember Humberto Soto just moved up to lw in late 2009 I think it was like decemeber. At this point JMM had just taken a beating from Mayweather and was taking the rematch with Diaz.
Again in hindsight yes Soto would have been a better fight, but at the time Diaz was still a top lw
