hopkins got robbed in the first fight and the second fight could have gone either way cause in that fight he didn't do much and taylor didn't do much.

Whether you agree with the judges that Taylor won or not. Taylor won and Hopkins failed to impress. Hop looked quite slow and didn't throw all that many punches. But since those losses he has looked spectacular in several fights. My first thought was this version of Hopkins would punish and dominate Taylor....but maybe it was something about Taylor's style of boxing that Hopkins just couldn't figure out.
It's simple he was fighting drained and once he got up in age it became harder to shed those few pounds. Thus, he didn't have the energy that he has at 175.

Jermain Taylor was really good. Far better than anyone gives him credit for.

Because Taylor outboxed Hopkins, had the power to trouble him and lasted 12 rounds.

pascal has improved greatly since then not to mention the froch fight was pretty close as well

unless bhop took pascal's soul he is still #2 at LHW

taylor was really good before until he got knocked out by Pavlik, then he went downhill from then on.

B-Hop lost his motivation after all the wins.
