    Chad Dawson is too passive

I don't know if it was the fact that a Dawson-Diaconu was once such an anticipated matchup for me personally and I'm just kind of disappointed that it didn't turn out the way I wanted, or what. I was bored. Chad, for all his talent, just looks like he doesn't really want to be there. He looked better than he did against Pascal, but Diaconu isn't as good as Pascal, so I don't know if I really learned anything more from Chad tonight. I see tons of talent, and no killer instinct. All that ability, and no desire. He looks like he's just coasting through each and every round and there's never a sense of urgency. I'm tired of boring boxers, point blank. Dawson and Ward are of the same ilk as far as I'm concerned.

Chad, buddy, you're no Tommy Hearns.

I have a question for you buddy...

If one fighter looks like he doesn't even want to be there, WHAT THE HELL IS THE OTHER FIGHTER DOING?

      Tommy Hearn. LMAO.

He has throw his whole body weigh, PIVOT, then throw that weak arse left hand.
BHOP can throw a SOLID STRAIGHT hand.

I don't know if PED will help Chad at this point.

Everyone feels the same way you do...

Chad doesn't seem to have another gear...or doesn't kick into that gear often enough...

          Count me out.

Imagine if Dawson would have fought like Diaconu did.

At least in this fight Diaconu was a limited boxer. He doesn't have the physical or technical skills of Dawson. Dawson showed no ambition and no heart, he just settled for a lame UD win

Yeah it wudda been nice if he did more but Chad is the better fighter so the boxing public expects him to put guys like him away

I'd pick so many guys to beat Chad Dawson, simply based on his lack of passion and determination, strictly based on that only. Pascal already got him for it, soon someone else will.

I agree but I mean he's just not a killer but it don't make him a bad fighter, but it's definitely why I don't count out Hopkins against him. Like Pascal he has great speed, power, and strength but the intangibles could cost him fights.
