I agree hes not "better" but hes greater by far. I think the TS is confused in his wording.

I don't think he is greater either~ I didn't consider him greater before and I don't rate Pascal highly enough to really change my view no matter what was at stake~. If you considered Hopkins greater before that is a different story.

Still a nice accolade for Hopkins though.

Factoring in his age. Hes remarkable. And it will be decades before we see something like this. Floyd and Pac are playing catch up imo.

Lets start at 2005 while Hops is past it:


Hes fought Taylor twice, Tarver, Winky, Pavlik, Calzaghe and Pascal twice.

And thats just since 05 while hes old and past it. Floyd and anyone other fighter from this era has big time catching up to do.

Not even including Tito, Joppy, Johnson, etc.

I've seen almost all of B-Hop's fights and Mayweather's, when comparing they're skills both are even, it's too bad most haven't watched a prime B-Hop. B-Hop clearly has the greater resume in my opinion, his willingness to be great is what most of the top fighters today are lacking.
