O2 Arena, London, England - In the heavily hyped super middleweight grudge fight, Commonwealth champion George Groves (13-0, 11KOs) defeated British champion and 2008 Olympic Gold medal winner James DeGale (10-1, 8KOs) in a very close and tactical fight. Great defensive performance from Groves, threw more and landed more.

Groves wanted it more. Degale shouldnt have taken him so lightly.

I had Degale up by a point, but if Degale had threw more punches in the first 6 rounds he would of won it... he put a good workrate in and threw punches in bunches for a round and won it, then the next one had a rest round and didnt throw enough and got outboxed... if he had tried to rough Groves up in more rounds he would have won more clearly IMO... still think Degale deserved it by a point.
