Most of Tyson's exciting fights were against bums. Look what happened when he stepped up with someone that wasn't intimidated? Holyfield wasn't that much taller either than him.

Also, the Klits have fought guys that are just as big.
If they are soo exciting, they would still be on HBo....last Vitaly fight I watched, he carried a past rime BBriggs that a Lennox Lewis KO'd...yes they have a lot of Ko's but they carry thier opponent a lot longer than they need to.....IMO....Tyson has a better resume than Vitaly.....if your gonna say that about Tyson and his opposition...then the same applies to Vitaly....his only loses are to his two best opposition...Tyson's remume> Vitaly's....the only thing Vitaly has is longevity

The problem is that 2 great HWs are stomping the competition instead of one.

Pretty sure if those 2 didn't exist, Americans would be jumping on Arreloa, Haye and Eddie Chambers as great by now.
They actually were a lot more talented . They werent the most dedicated werent the fittest of athletes but the likes of tony tubbs, pinklon thomas , tim witherspoon, greg page, michael dokes could box . The problem with the heavyweights today is not so much the lack of talent. Its more that these heavyweight arent being taught the sweet science . Wladimir depsite his lack of talent and boxing skills is dominating the division not because he has great boxing skills but because he has one of the most succesful and knowledgable boxing trainers out there in manny steward who has taught them basic fundamentals . How to use his height and reach to keep his opponents at bay . I mean it is no coincidence that the guy who is dominating the divsion has the best trainer in the business . I mean who is training david haye . Adam booth i mean who the **** did he ever train . I mean booth probably never even fought in his life . I mean who is training arreola, peters, boystov, perez, chirosa, helenius . I tell you who a bunch of clowns who never boxed in their life and know nothing about the sweet science. I mean no wonder the heavyweight divsion is at an all time low when you have a bunch of amateurs training all the heavyweights. I if these guys were training tyson in the eighties he would never of become heavyweight champion. I mean a fighter is only as good as their trainers . We saw what happened to tyson once he left rooney who was expert on the peek a boo style.
