Quick and unnecessary stoppages in world title fights and on PPVs are very harmful to the sport of boxing.

I had it 115-114 to DeGale, but can't complain tbh. When it warmed up it was a good fight..
I wanna see a rematch next year, let things simmer between them a little.
I wanna see Groves fight for the European title next against Brian Magee (if he still holds it). Providing he wins I'd like to see him fight a proven, experienced SMW, like Sakio Bika. Then a rematch with DeGale.
Next I wanna see DeGale move to the US and find a better trainer. Then fight some good level opponents, maybe throw him in with Quillin, which would be a good fight. Hopefully he learns from this loss and goes on to bigger and better things, like Amir Khan did.

I had it 116-114 in DeGale's favour, I thought he was pushing the fight and landing the better shots. I was split on the close rounds, some went to DeGale for his pressure and some to Groves for his countering but overall I thought DeGale done enough to take it.
oh well, at least groves knows what he's talking about
