DeGale has nothing to be embarrassed about, I personally don't think he lost, he was the aggressor through out
Groves just RUNS...I am much more impressed with DeGale then Groves and I think he will have the MUCH BETTER PRO CAREER in the Long Run
Excellent Fight! Would love to see this fight again...but Sky is killing me trying to HYPE UP Groves Performance...it wasn't that damn IMPRESSIVE! He SURVIVED!Last edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 05-21-2011, 05:45 PM.

I had it 8 rounds to 4 Groves. The margin is only that wide on my scoring because the rounds where there wasn't much action are the hardest to score.
Groves: 2,3,5,6,7,10,11,12
DeGale: 1,4,8,9
The last few rounds were very hard to score, but the difference to me was many of the flurries DeGale tried to pull off looked flashy, but the majority of the time, there was only about one punch that broke through. I think Groves jab and counter punching won those last rounds. Also, Groves is a very jumpy and uses nervous energy in a lot of his movement, and whenever DeGale would engage him in close, Groves would jump around and it may have looked like Groves was affected by the punches, but I don't think that was the case at all.
I feel DeGale would have won this fight if he jabbed. Every time he did, Groves head snapped back.
