To be honest I also got the feeling Lebedev was carrying Roy in this fight.

I think Roy landed a good punch in round 10 knocking Lebedev to the ropes.

I think that made Lebedev a bit mad, and he decided to finish Roy off.

I do get the feeling Lebedev carried Roy a bit... and they seemed great friends.

In any case, I really dont want to see Roy fight anymore and this KO was disturbing...

Smoger should have stopped the the fight when Roy slumped over,Thank god he is ok but he could've been killed, bad refereeing from Smoger there. Lebedev was heartless he knew it was over before he threw that last shot, Yeah he looked at Smoger first but still that last punch could've ended Roy's life.

Tbh I was scared that Roy wasn't gonna get up. This is the time he should retire, his wife was crying, it's obvious he's putting his family through alot of hurt and his health in serious jeaopardy. Please hang them up Roy like you should have done when you beat and clowned on Jeff Lacy. That would've been a good time to go out.

Roy need's to sit back and realise it's over, I knew this could end bad when I saw how slow he looked in training infront of the media when hitting the pad's.
Like always I hoped he might have been able to come out with the victory and go out on top. Damn

I didnt like that last shot to be honest, its not Lebedev's fault tho he even hesitated when Smoger looked like he might jump in but he didnt and so he threw. Smoger was a shot to late for me, all things considered but he is praised for his style of reffing and more often than not by me so im not gonna call him out to much on this but for me he shoulda stopped it when he looked like he was gonna and before that last shot crashed home

Lmao he should be DQ'd for punching a guy who is on his feet. Apparently in American boxing punching your opponent in the head isn't allowed.

Nobody let this guy see Tua-Ruiz, Cooney-Norton, Tua-Moorer or he may have a nervous breakdown.

Its serious health problems going on now. No state should licsence him after this. The reality is someone like Cloud or Ward could possibly kill him in the ring and I dont want to bare witnes to that.
Are we talking about Andre Ward here? If so that man couldn't kill a lightweight if you put one in front of him.

it wasnt a big deal. people are just oversensitive because its Roy Jones. If it was just some random guy without a fanbase, wed be going wild because it was an awesome KO. Smoger didnt do a bad job at all either.

Roy was still on his feet, and would have maybe finished the round if that final hook didnt land. it was the last round too, wasnt it?

fact of the matter is that KOs happen in boxing, and people are talking all this BS about DQ and bad ref when in reality they just feel bad to see a legend go out like that, and want to blame someone. Roy knew what he was getting into, its his own fault if anyones...or his corners. if it was almost anyone but Roy, yall would love it and wouldnt be complaining.

NOW, its the boxing commision that needs to get involved. do NOT let the guy fight any more.

Actually I thought Smoger did do a bad job.

When Roy went down with his eyes closed, I honestly was expecting a serious injury. It almost looked like Roy was dead. (Thank God, he was not.)

I really feel the fight should have been stopped before.

We also need to take into account A) Punches Roy received up to that point. He took a lot of punches in rounds 4, 7, and 8.

                  B) Roy has been KO'd before in his career. And this is a cumulative effect.

This KO was honestly unnecessary and disturbing. Smoger messed up, and Roy's corner messed up even worse by allowing him to fight in the first place n not stopping it in round 8 or 9.

It was a strange one for the ref
Smoger is usually in there right away if somebody's hurt, but Roy was still on his feet and that moment of indecision by Smoger resulted in Roy getting clocked.

I'd venture to guess that the people hating on Smogger the loudest are the very same who tirelessly complain about Steele stopping the Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Meldrick Taylor match when he had to. Ironic...
