no one cares about fights in Germany. when was the last time the heavyweight champion of the world fought in Germany? I can't recall ONE

well think a bit more............it wasn't that long ago when the very same title was being fought for in germany....

1995: shulz - botha
1996: schulz - moorer
from 99 - 2000 by vitali
2000 between byrd and wlad
2000 - 2003 by wlad..

all in germany...


the wbo title, from 1999 - 2003 was all in germany, and at that stage it wasn't recognised....

it took a yank, brewster, to win it for it to gain recognition...

i like brewster . i ll watch the fight on tv and cheer for him .

don king is doing this to brown nose the german promoters.......who of late, have become very very powerful.....

also there is a lot more money in it in germany...

but either way, there is no practical reason why it can't be streamed on us tv....for ****'s sake, the germans are very fair and don't even do ppv....they just stream it on their channel, and god bless them, they actually stream it over their satellite channel ZDF ......this can be viewed in europe, nth africa, mid east...just about everywhere for FREE....so why can't an american channel pay a few bucks perhaps and piggyback off it...

exactly...........thats the reason why i checked out who was ref, and to my dismay, i am not very impressed with this selection........don king the prick could have easily requested a better well known firm ref........
