Based on the current positions of both parties, it's unlikely that WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan will take part in a unification with IBF king Zab Judah on July 23. Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that Judah's side is demanding a 50-50 split on the revenue. Golden Boy Promotions, who handle Khan, have no interest in discussing a 50-50 split with Judah.

60/40.
As for the most experience on Khan's career, Barrera probably IMO. However he was shot.Comment

This is what makes me laugh at boxing. You get a fighter who retires and people are like "who has he fought?" "He only fought bums" and maybe its because these so called superstars that they wanted to fight are asking for ridiculous amounts of money. Sorry, I'm starting to rant lolComment

Well, Judah is no where near as washed up as Barrera was and Judah does have a belt. Judah deserves decent money but team Khan are just too damn tight. If Khan wants to unify belts then he shouldn't expect other champions to bow down to his demand. If he wants to take the vast majority of the purse then he should just continue to face faded legends and other bums that won't complain. Just don't flap your lips saying you wanna fight the best, you wanna unify but are not willing to pay for it.

No one cares for him, and even true boxing fans just started taking of him since he beat Mabuza who is literally a bum (more or elss) who beat a bum in Holt.
1 fight a go, Judah was slated as being crap looking crap VS Matthyse. When people talked Khan VS Judah 1 fight a go, boxing fans started saying pick Bradley, someone not shot.

Where are people getting all this info about Judah still being a big name? He's been fighting on crap PPV's and ESPN2 for the past 3 years, his last fight on HBO did crap ratings.
11/6/2010 - HBO - Boxing After Dark - Judah/Mathysse - 766,000 total live viewers
Khan on the other hand is doing nice ratings and gate figures.
Maidana vs. Khan gate - Mandalay Bay - $500,000
04/16/11 - HBO - BAD - Khan vs. McCloskey - Ortiz vs. Berto - 1.5 Million average viewers
December 11, 2010 - HBO - 8:00 PST - Amir Khan - Marcos Maidana – 1.17 million viewers
s
5-15-2010 - HBO - World Championship Boxing - Paulie Malignaggi vs. Amir Khan - 1.228 million live viewers
Khan should offer Judah $500k or tell him to **** off and see where he can make that type of money fighting anyone else.
Just a few years ago Judah Vs Spinks was offered on a Don King's webcastM. Not even Versus Network was interested. And..even the public wasn't interested in the FREE online webcast. On the other hand, a site doing a live stream of Khan vs Salita had 60,000 viewers on one stream.
I hate to see fight not made because of money squabble, but some boxers has to be realistic of their worth. And besides, knocking off the top guy almost always gurantees you a few better paydays...unless you are Prescot. HeheheComment

If they want Khan to be a PPV kinda fighter they are going to have to try their luck sooner or later..No??Comment

I don't think anybody is saying that Judah is a big draw. I think most people just think Judah is a live opponent and it would be a great fight. As fans of the sport that's all we can hope for is to see good competitive fights. Personally I don't care how much ppv anyone sells, its not like me or any other fan is gonna see a percentage of it. But too many fights are not happening because of greedy fighters demanding too much money and trying to shaft other fighters and Khan is one of those fighters trying to do this on a regular basis.Comment
