but it would be cool if khan did that.

    he'd smack zab around anyway.

zab will be in it at the start but once 4th-5th round comes khan will start punking his ass.
id agree with that. For the first few rounds Zab will try to look like a million dollars, with some success with his slipping and fast counters, but Khan would just turn up the heat and itd be too much for Zab round 6 onwards and he'll fade, like he had done in EVERY other major fight he's had.

Zab loses his head and his stamina, Khan knocks him out or gets a stoppage

If he wants to take the vast majority of the purse then he should just continue to face faded legends and other bums that won't complain. Just don't flap your lips saying you wanna fight the best, you wanna unify but are not willing to pay for it.
This is what makes me laugh at boxing. You get a fighter who retires and people are like "who has he fought?" "He only fought bums" and maybe its because these so called superstars that they wanted to fight are asking for ridiculous amounts of money. Sorry, I'm starting to rant lol

The truth is Khan was getting a million a fight as soon as he turned pro and its made him very greedy. There are other fighters just as good as him but he expects more. It back fired on his last fight because sky were not willing to put him fighting a bum on ppv. People want to see him fight competitive fights against live opponents and that costs money. You can't keep trying to shaft future opponents out of money.
      Great posts!
      ---------------

I get that Khan has a lot of fans, but right now the majority of them are in the U.K. Not only is this fight in the U.S. but the majority of Khans fights have been and will be here in the future because Khan wants to be a big U.S. star. Khan was very fortunate to walk in to the pros and get with a promotional company willing to pay him a guaranteed million + for his fights. Very few fighters get that and have to work hard on their way up to get that kind of money.

But how many times has a Khan vs X fighter not happened because the opponent wants a better deal? A LOT. I could see if it were just a few, but the majority of offers that Team Khan and GBP have given to a new possible opponent end up not being made - yet it's the opponents fault and THEY are "Divas"? lol. If it was just one or two, well then maybe. But how many possible opponents now have been scratched because of money? Team Khan is setting a trend. Unfortunately Khan can go on and fight the McCloskeys of the world and still make his guaranteed Mill. Most of these other fighters don't have that luxury. Hell, even Bradley was given a very specific list of fighters that HBO would only accept as possible future opponents. I hope they do the same with Khan, but they probably wont because he would never end up fighting because everyone keeps "pricing themselves" out haha. Khan is going to end up running out of options. His only hope is to find up and comers willing to take the low end in order for a possible shot for the future. That's all fine and well but Khan wants the big boys with the titles, and the "I deserve more then you" Khan motto isn't going to work with them.

What if Guerrero ends up "pricing himself out"? Then what? Maidana? Doubtful. The only reason we got lucky enough to see the first fight is because Maidana was Khans mandatory and he forced a purse split bid. Remember before Maidana forced the bid that Team Khan said, .... wait for it....... Maidana was "pricing himself out". LOL.

*EDIT* I didn't realize that Maidana beating Morales made him mandatory to Khan again. This is a good thing, but I imagine Maidana will be forced to request a purse split bid again. It's rarely a good thing but in this case, thank God for mandatories... This is the fight that should be made over Judah or Guerrero anyway. This one could be a PPV demand and is a sure fire barn burner.

I said I'm from NYC, not upstate NY. I live on 218 th street in Seaman ave. Yeah people know who Zab is but no one cares about him the way u making it seem. He's not even all that popular in BK either anymore. I be in Brooklyn all the time. And I for the last year I've been working in Fordham U in the BX and people there don't care about him either.

People need to realize that JUDAH is the bigger draw and the bigger name in the U.S. He would be Khans most proven commodity aside from Barrera, but, much closer to his physical peak. Sure Judah has folded under pressure in big fights but he loses to top competition, no Breidis Prescott ko's on his record. Think about what Zab did for Mayweather/Cotto's career, he helped them sellout venues which they had never done before and create more exposure. Maybe Khan wouldn't have to hold his next fight in a 5,000 seat venue.

That was 2007 bro. No one really cares about him anymore in 2011.

let Judah get 60-40 in Khan's favor...but Judah deserves no more he has not done nearly enough to ask that kind of money...Judah has a win over Matthysse and Mabuza...Lucas Matthysse is a very solid fighter and could give anyone a problem cuz of hes pressure and hes Power he was a very very strong LW now fighting at JWW and i am picking him to win against Devon in hes next fight... Mabuza is another guy who is not really talented but he is a good fighter a good C Level or B Level fighter and this the fight Zab put on a Show specially hes Defence he looked like hes trainer Pernell Whitaker in there showed hes great boxing IQ and skills/amazing counter punching and just raw hitting power he possess at JWW he can absolutely hurt and KO anyone at JWW and he showed he has much improved in patience/composure and most importantly STAMINA!!!... even when Lucas cracked him with that right hand in the last couple of rounds Judah got up and Finished the fight good and was not overly tired so thats another fight prior to the Mabuza fight he showed that...and this where it STOPS!!!! Judah doesnt deserve no more no less cuz he is a big name has fought almost every champion they have put in front of him and held hes own and was once undisputed JWW champion...Idk if this fight ever happens im picking Judah by KO in any round

U on the east side. I live a block up from the 1 train on broadway ave. People know Zab and root for him but not the way he was when he was at 147. In 2007 when he fought Cotto the garden was live as **** but that was 4yrs ago. He aint got that type of love anymore imo. Paulie, poor Paulie. The owner of my construction company is Italian and we went to see him and Khan fight in the theatre.

                    11/6/2010 - HBO - Boxing After Dark - Judah/Mathysse - 766,000 total live viewers

Khan on the other hand is doing nice ratings and gate figures.

Maidana vs. Khan gate - Mandalay Bay - $500,000

04/16/11 - HBO - BAD - Khan vs. McCloskey - Ortiz vs. Berto - 1.5 Million average viewers

                    December 11, 2010 - HBO - 8:00 PST - Amir Khan - Marcos Maidana – 1.17 million viewers

5-15-2010 - HBO - World Championship Boxing - Paulie Malignaggi vs. Amir Khan - 1.228 million live viewers

Khan should offer Judah $500k or tell him to **** off and see where he can make that type of money fighting anyone else.

$450-500K or Judah should be told to go back to getting a $50K payday like his last one
