Hopkins doesn't want to fight. Watch him come in heavier later.

that's strange, hopkins has never came in over in his entire life.

but I'm guessing he wanted to come in at 175 on the dot and be as heavy as possible, which I'm sure can be tricky to nail precisely.

1/4 pound he should be able to shed that no problem.

it had nothing to do with the weigh in and there is a RIP Macho Man thread in the non-boxing forum.

yeah, that is a surprise, and as professional as hopkins is about his weight, im willing to bet that is exactly what he was trying to do......

the science of making weight RIGHT is one of the most trickiest of all responsibilities for a boxer........... even for a expert professional as hopkins.......

now had hopkins came in a pound or two over, i would be very concerned, but i think this is just one of those things......... clip you toe and finger nails ought to be enough, maybe shave....... take a shidt.........

there are worlds of different angles or thoughts that can be brought up about this............

i'm just shocked a bit that this is the first time i've ever seen hopkins miss weight, even by 4 oz. or even a gram...........
