The 1.5M is the minimum. He will probably end up making 2M. Bradley won't be getting 5M from a Pacquiao fight like Mosley got. Mosley is a name. Bradley will probably get around the same amount as Clottey got, which was around 1.8M.

But that doesn't change the fact that he can still fight in July though.

Maybe Bradley knows he is GUARANTEED a fight with pacquiao about a year from now (should pac beat marquez)? And he knows in the meantime should he choose to fight, HBO HAS to offer him a fight and pay him one million bucks. He doesn't have to fight Khan to make seven figures. Shame on HBO for giving him that opportunity, but shame on bradley if he's trying to calculate the most cannish opponent to fight.

I don't know why he wouldn't want to show the fans he's ready and willing to beat Khan NOW like he has been singing about doing. Even a fight with Pac a year from now is only gonna get him a guaranteed 3 million. 2.5-3 million for a pac fight>>> 1.4 for a khan fight. bradley's contract expires at the end of june, thats only a little over a month. he can hold out till then, sign with top rank, take a fight in the fall under the top rank banner, and then fight pac next year.

Please tell me how they are to promote this fight when Bradley is under contract with Shaw. Do you actually believe Shaw is going to shell out money up until the end of June when Bradley's contract expires only for the fight to go down and he gets no money from the fight in July? He can't make a move to promote the fight cause he doesn't want to do it with shaw and he's under contract. He'd have to at least sign an extension to the end of this fight and that's only if Shaw isn't trying to make him sign on for more fights. either that or if he has the money he can buy out the remainder of his contract and sign with another promoter.
