Just watched Lebedev vs Maccarinelli .Lebedev is a southpaw and he is pretty mediocre but he does have a big left hand, you kind of see it coming but Roy Jones' relexes disappeared a long time ago. I fear for Roy.

I am seeing it differently than you guys.

I am seeing a bulked up, thick, sturdy Roy in these photos.

Not someone who overtrained and then cut weight and dehydrated to make LHW.. Looks like Roy plans on coming in at the full 200lbs... fully hydrated, and fully healthy.

You dont need to be shredded to be in shape... actually a lot of fighters seemingly dehydrate themselves too much, and at the weigh in they are ripped.. but in the ring theyve got nothing because they are spent.

Especially based on somethings Roy has said, about not leaving everything in training camp and nothing left over for the fight.. he said at this age, he's gotta go about things differently for his body... he's definitely in shape... but he's not cutting weight, who cares what he looks like at the weigh in, if hes fully hydrated, and bulked up... we could witness a much more sturdy Roy, and he could have a much better punch now.

I could obviously be overly optimistic... but I am open to this look... I like the bulked look at cruiserweight.

Ive already seen the shredded Roy at the Nard and Green weigh ins... it didnt make a difference how ripped he was for those fights.

Leave some meat on the bones, some water in the body... forget about being shredded at the weigh in... just be healthy, and have energy for the fight.

I thought Roy looked about a full 200lbs... no cutting weight for him. Good.
