Manny should whomp Marquez. Anything else, and it just looks bad on him. I'd say there's about a 10% chance of Marquez winning this fight. And even that might be generous. But boy, I'd be laughing if he did somehow win. Manny's marketability would take a HUGE hit. Getting beaten by a 38 year old Marquez would be awful for him.

I don't see the point in this fight. Why not just take the Floyd fight with the huge money on the table? Who cares about testing? MAKE MONEY MANNY.

I really like Dwyer and watch many of his videos. I think the main reason I watch him is because he is biased heavily towards the technicians of boxing. As am I. Dwyer favors people that figure other people out. (Hopkins, Mayweather, Martinez,, Ward, etc). Please note, this is not an exclusive list by any means.

He does his research and knows his facts. He gets it wrong sometimes, but usually if you follow the recommended straddle you can actually lose your primary bet and still possibly win money.

If you follow Dwyer, you will also notice that he has picked Manny Pacquiao to lose MANY fights. I believe Pacquiao was out-witted TWICE by Marquez. BUT, I don't think Marquez wins a trilogy. In fact, I believe he gets stopped. Manny Pacquiao has improved tenfold since he last faced Marquez. Marquez is a great Mexican warrior and I still believe he is technically superior to Pacquiao, but I believe at this stage in their careers, Marquez likely gets stopped.

For those who believe Marquez lost one, or both fights, I would encourage you to rewatch and try not to focus on Pacquiao's exciting, sensational style. Instead concentrate on who is doing more of what they want to do in the fight. In other words, I believe Marquez was simply imposing his will and taking Manny out of his comfort zone. Both fights were very close in terms of the scorecards, but I think the psychological advantage AFTER Marquez figured out where Manny's punches were coming from, clearly belonged to Marquez.

I totally agree. They get caught up in all of the exchanges and punches threw, but completely ignored the small things which didn't showed up on the compuBox stats.

I didn't say Pacquiao is the same as he was in 2004. His power and stamina increased. What I did say, is that his technique is pretty much the same. Were you able to comprehend that little guy?

He can now uses both hands, his right hand is better now. His footwork has gotten better as well, but his form of attack against moving target is still the same. Any Boxers with good timing and lateral movement will make him pay when he lunges in.

He always used both hands. His right hand looks better against immobile opponents. His footwork looks better against immobile opponents. Yes, agreed, any boxers with timing and movement will do what Morales did in the first fight and Marquez did x2.

Edit: His footwork is actually worse now.

I just wanted to add that I'm not among the host of people who believe Manny is unbeatable. I do believe he has exploitable flaws, but because he is so fast he can make mistakes and get away with them. Also, it takes a special skill set to beat Pacquiao. Unfortunately, there are probably only 2 people in the world at this time who are technically gifted enough to pull it off.

I honestly don't think Pacquiao or Mayweather are dying to fight each other at the moment. They both know there is a large element of risk involved, and somebody's pay scale is going down. As long as there are more fish in the sea, and a significant opportunity for Floyd to make more money on his unbeaten record while still in good condition, I'm confident that's what he will do.

Still, I can't understand his inactivity. I have no idea why he won't shut Khan up, or fight Ortiz, or anybody to make a little cash and stay sharp. Anybody think he's really gone from boxing?

                    Sure it is.

IF I left or stayed it won't change a damn thing.

Manny vs Mosely was a staged "fight".

Manny vs Clottey was a staged "fight". (Clottey admitted it in a video interview right after the fight in his home country. It was a "business" decision.)

Old Bob who pulled a known Cheater in Margarito to fight Manny for a title NEITHER deserved and himself, Pac and their team lie and flip flop on a regular basis. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the "chosen" go along with the act for their payoff and the promise of future fights from Bob. Margarito is "cleared" to fight next year and Shane was asked on TV if he's retiring...and stated he's got Cotto and or Margarito rematches next.)

The fighters who fight Pac are DONE at that point and should be retired. Yet they are still getting fights from Arum for an extra kicker.

                    You aren't fooling anyone.
