60/40 on those 5 fights aren't exactly impressive IMO. And neither is picking Katsidis over JMM.

I'm not thrilled about this fight, but I think it's somewhat more legit then the Mayweather fight.

1) It's 144 and not 146, not that it makes that much of a difference though.
2) Manny and Marquez are more similiar in size
3) Marquez probably learned something about the mistakes he made when making weight at WW

But most important, many people think that they've unfinished business and Marquez seems to have figured out Pac pretty good which should make it a fight at least.

Again, neither Pac nor Floyd deserves THAT much respect for beating JMM at 144/146 IMO, but I have an easier time understanding why Pac-JMM III is being made.

I'd have rather seen Pac-Bradley, Pac-Ortiz or Pac-Martinez. Even though Pac-Bradley at least would have been an easier win for Manny IMO.

- Bradley is a terrible fight imo. He wouldn't get past Khan let alone be competition for MP or Floyd. He may be able to box, but he has no power at all......he's actually a bit like Paulie Malignaggi when you really think about it.

in height maybe......but not in SIZE. Whether you believe POac is on PED's or not he's not much smaller than Floyd as a WW. If they were to actually fight no more than 4 or 5 pounds would separate them on fight night.

We don't know what Floyd weighs on fight night these days.

But it'll probably only be 4-5lbs seperating Pac and Marquez on fight night as well.

Just ONE of the points he made being this third fight is an optical illusion is PERFECT for Pac. Manny's fights ARE optical illusions. I think it was a slick way of Dwyer admitting Manny's fights are rigged in his favor (but not totally admitting it.)

Marquez doesn't stand a chance at ANY weight vs Pac at this stage.( Not with Arum's cash cow.)

1) No surprise Marquez was waited for a third rematch three years later, at an ineffective weight he's only fought once at and was PROVEN ineffective and slow.

2) Does it really need to be stated that they've got and will have Manny juiced to the gills to look amazingly fast and "Great" vs a bloated slow marquez for this third "legit" fight?

3) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY Bob Arum will NOT allow ANY fighter who is at the tail end of their career with a "name" to win against his cash cow if they get "chosen" to fight him and CERTAINLY NOT a fighter who has LOST to Mayweather with a Mayweather megafight on the horizon. Bob will keep Manny winning to attempt to boost leverage. and money making in his promoters wet dream fight.. (The recent string of fighters to fight Pac weren't going anywhere and took advantage of their made name to cash it out for their payoff vs Pac. Plain and simple.)

Marquez is simply cashing out his name for a payoff. He knows he isn't allowed to beat Manny even if he could at the weight he's fighting him at. The optical illusion...Slow the opponent down....juice Manny to the gills at his comfortable weight.

I favor Khan over Bradley aswell, and obviously Pac over Bradley. But he's a young, in his prime, no1 ranked fighter (and african american, even if I don't give a **** about that) and that's what the haters has been shouting about.

In terms of toughest fights for Manny, it'd be: 1) Martinez, 2) Ortiz, 3) JMM and 4) Bradley. But all are fine by me, it's not like there's plenty of other guys out there for him to fight.

Did this guy say Pacquiao's technique hasn't improved since 2004? If so, then he obviously doesn't know much about boxing.

He has improved offensively, but not defensively. The PED's have done what they are supposed to do and the extra training capacity, lean muscle and stamina has essentially improved/enhanced what he was already good at, which is ambush style attacks delivered at quick speed at odd angles.

Contrary to the popular myth perpetuated on bscene "Performance Enhancing Drugs" actually DO enhance performance (hence the name). That's not to say it will make a crap boxer elite or even very good (which is the silly argument Pac fans use to reject the notion he MAY be using PED's) but they will make an already very good or perhaps elite boxer (which Pac was in the lighter weights) that 5 - 15% better, which when you are already in the top 4 or 5 is a very big advantage.

lmao, I like dwyer he's cool, i don't take everything he has to say to heart, obviously, I don't think he'd want me to either, I mean I've heard him say Katsidis will beat Marquez and I've heard him say Brad Solomon can beat Floyd Mayweather, I take what he says with a grain of salt and move on. In this particular case, I think he's a little off, Marquez has evaded "age" for awhile, he's very skilled, I do think the weight isn't ideal for him, but one could argue, why would Manny bend to Marquez's demands? In the end, I can't picture Manny outweighing Marquez by any extreme amount on fight night, I think this fight is compelling, I'm looking forward to it.
