who really cares? 144, 147 Floyd wins. Besides, Marquez challenged Floyd, not the other way around. Usually when a fighter from a smaller weight classes challenges a fighter above them, almost always that fighter goes up in weight since he's the one doing the challenging.

Any other fighter, this would be perfectly ok. But since it's mayweather people put unrealistic expectations on him and nothing he can do is enough for the haters.

I can undestand someone not wanting to spend the money, but I cant understand why anyone wouldn't want to watch this fight.

Mayweather-Marquez is such an important fight. The outcome will decide the future of super fights for the next couple years.

Plus we get to see Mayweather return and it will be very interesting to see how he looks after his long lay off. This fight will be used as a measuring stick for fans to try and predict how he will do against Pacquiao, assuming he wins.

And of course Marquez is a pound 4 pound fighter, #2 in fact. People are writing him off. **** I don't think he'll win, but he isn't #2 for nothing! He should be able to at the very least make the fight interesting and tough for Floyd.

He's a damn warrior, I love the mentality of Marquez. He's going to give Mayweather a hell of a fight. Or he's going to get absolutely pummeled and show a ton of heart in the process.

Marquez is obviously a fantastic fighter, #2 in the world (a round or two away from being #1). If Mayweather completely dominates him (not saying he will but what if), he obviously deserves to be ranked in the top 10 pound 4 pound. Where do you think he should be?
