It is taking Manny Pacquiao 3 fights to decisively beat Juan Manuel Marquez when it took Mayweather one time to do so, and this was after a 2 year layoff.

One round separates these two after 24 rounds. In their second fight in 2008 it was one knockdown that was the difference. Mayweather fought Marquez a year after that and shut Marquez out.
