Williams vs Ishida is off

Do you have any evidence of this? Everything I've read suggests they are interested. They showed Adamek beating up Arreola just like everyone knew he would.
It's probably not official yet because that fight isn't until September, while the mythical Haye fight is less than 2 months away. HBO rarely schedules fights much further ahead than that.Comment

Wasn't HBO gonna buy Cotto-Wolak/Martirosyan? Oh, and let's not forget about Yuri Foreman. All white boxers.Comment

Damn. KO's and Ls have to be translated to various languages? That explains a lot.He stated it matter-of-factly kind of how he stated this most recently and never came back to this asinine statement in regards to defending Lebedev accepting the RJJ fight:
That's sigworthy.

Adamek was supposed to LOSE to Arreola, like Litzau was supposed to lose to Caballero. He was there as an opponent against a big, strong HW who Greenburg believed would beat him. It was a Goossen event in California, with Jack Reiss as referee. They wouldn't have Adamek on after that, HBO ignored Kathy Duva's telephone calls.
No, Adamek-Vitali is official and there's two pressers next week:
HBO has already scheduled Sergio Martinez for Oct 1:By Przemek Garczarczyk
On May 24 in Wroclaw, Poland and May 25 in Dresden, Germany, Polish light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KOs) will meet for the first time the biggest challenge of his career – WBC heavyweight titleholder Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 39 KO). “It will be my first face to face with Vitali and our chance to officially announce the stadium in Wroclaw as the fight site for the September 10 event,” said Adamek. “I’m looking forward to both press conferences and to my training camp with Roger Bloodworth which will start in the middle of June. I’m feeling very confident about my chances and becoming a first fighter in our sport’s history who will have the light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight belts.”

American boxers are not covered in much detail in Russia. They know he's old, like they know Hopkins, Vitali and Holyfield are old, but they are not really aware of how shot Roy is.Comment

This fight was only a mismatch in that the people at HBO knew that Ishida would kick Williams ass.
Expect the sorriest possible bum to fight the bum Williams on HBO.
Williams is a bad joke and another k.o waiting to happen. They saw what Ishida did to their other bum Kirkland and decided to match him up against someone safe.
The problem is that no matter who Williams fights he'll be a k.o waiting to happen cuz' he fucking sucks.Comment
