Wlad-Peter: both guys stock should plummet

Last night was a pitiful performance on the part of both men in my opinion. Peter showed he is a one-dimensional fighter with not so good power as we expected. Wlad showed he has no chin whatsoever and never seemed to dominate Peter like a man of his size/power should. Peter showed a good chin but no stamina. I think both guys get crushed by any top 5-8 heavy.

Pretty much agree. I'm no more interested in Vlad now than I was before this bout. Vlad should have been able to take this guy out, especially since he was able to land those flush right hands. Peter showed he is very very green.

Vlad looked like a prospect. Peter looked like a testoterone driven 18-yr-old in his first pro match.

Summary .... not an interesing fight for boxing fans. Vlad fans will eat-it-up, but it was simply a bad matchup.

This fight should result in Vlad's stock remaining flat, while Peter's falls steeply.

WTF is up with Wlad's legs...he didn't look hurt when he got clipped by Peter but his legs started flying in all directions...looks like he has some serious balance issues and he also forgot to punch when Peter was coming forward...instead he just jerked his head around and wound up falling down...I thought both guys looked weak and the only exciting part of the fight was seeingif Wlad would survive and win or get knocked out...

I suppose it depends on what Stocks they bought.

Peter doesn't strike me as the kind to play the market. But Wlad is a doctor right? So he's probably pretty cluey. He could make a fortune with the right investments.

Vitali KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter
Toney KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter
Rahman KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter
Brewster KO's Wlad, might get KO'ed by Peter
Williamson KO's Wlad, might get KO'ed by Peter

Nobody is going to outpoint Wlad but with his pathetic chin I think Barrett and McCline KO him now. I think Brock KO's him as well. That a good enough start?

I agree it wasn't the best. Wlad seemed really gun shy and his chin still looked like it was going to give out. With that though, and peter's unknown chin at the time, it made for an anything can happen at anytime fight, and it kept me entertained.

On the other hand though, Wlad proved he can stick by his game plan, and he can dominate. Peter showed he does have power and he does have a great chin.

After this fight, I think Wlad confidence is way up now, I think in his next fight we should look for him to be less gun shy and really lay down a beating.

Peter will be a great fighter as soon as he gets a better corner, and gets a better game plan, other than trying to one punch KO everyone.

Peter has no stamina. The only reason he was in this fight is cuz Wlad has no chin.

Peter needs a lot more training and some more time before he can be considered even a top 10 HW I think.

With his massive power he has what he needs, he just needs to round out his skills a bit more. Once he does this and learns how to work behind a jab and set up his punches, look for peter to be a force.

Vitali never fights Wlad and gets upset by Peter.

Toney stands as good a chance as anyone with his boxing skill against both fighters. Either way:

Wlad UD Toney and Toney SD Peter
Wlad K.O. Rahman and Toney UD Rahman
Wlad T.K.O. Brewster and Toney UD Brewster
Wlad T.K.O. Williamson late and Toney T.K.O. Williamson late.

Before the fight.....you were SO sure Wlad was going to get stopped. You were wrong, and now you are embarrasing yourself.
