It's the perfect time.. For Mayweather to wait a couple days before announcing his own plans which will be completely independent of this. Don't be surprised if Mayweather miraculously has plans in place shortly after Pacquiao is committed elsewhere.

Pac fans just want the onus in one place. When they first negotiated in 2009/2010; Mayweather's team initiated negotiation and had both offers turned down. Manny's team couldn't even contact Team Mayweather when prior to the Margarito bout yet they could call Greenburg. Oh, the irony of this thread.
