They will get him another fight against a top 10 contender probably 3 to 5 fights. Might end of seeing a rematch between him and Wladimir Klitschko eventually, Peter as the challenger.

You are Peter's promoter, what next?

I have a su****ion that after the couple of knockdowns (legit or not) Peter's stock is not low. Look at all the interest this fight garnered. Good style or not he is still a puncher and knockout artist and as such is still watchable to the avaerage fight fan. IF Wlad is a top flight contender then Peter is all the easier to market (footage of him flooring a champion) and so I think that he may be more attractive to the bigger name fighters as a money fight. I could see Ruiz thinking to emulate Wlad's tactics (also trying to take advantage of a less confident and experienced Peter) or even a Tua coming out of the woodwork for a bigger profile fight to end his career on. One things for sure, with all the unreliable talent in the division as long as he avoids Vitali, Byrd and Wlad (again) for a couple of fights and trains constructively then he will be up towards the top of the rankings. However smart training seems rare in this division.

If Peter's stamina could be improved he would be very difficult to beat because of his punch and chin. But I dont think anybody in the world has the lungs and heart to wing those kind of hard punches for 12 rounds. Which is Peter's limitation. And you cant really say he should fight at a more measured pace and box more because that is not what he is built for. He is built to attack and trade punches. He will I think for a long time be a dangerous opponent to anybody as any big puncher with a solid chin is. You have to be on top of your game as a boxer against those type fighter.Last edited by Mark 22; 09-26-2005, 07:25 AM.

The same trainer who trains Peter also trains Calvin Brock...I think the guy knows how to train a guy to box.

I would have him fight a top 15-20 guy like Shannon Briggs or Sinan Samil Sam next January.
Speaking of which, I don't see a fight with Kevin Mcbride to be a problem either. I think a fight between these two would get semi-decent ratings since Peter is an up and coming fighter and Mcbride has the publicity from beating(hopefully retiring) Tyson.
