Honestly, I would expect Cotto to beat Jr, I think he's just a much better fighter even though Jr would be a live opponent.

I would without a doubt give him all the credit in the world for beating Canelo and Angulo.

Personally I think the Canelo fight would be a "pick em" fight because it would take place in the near future and Canelo is big strong and will get better.

I think Cotto would lose to Angulo though, Angulo is Margarito 2.0, possibly being a better boxer. His style is not a good one for Cotto. Pressure fighter with an iron chin and KO power in both hands.

We can talk all we want about Cotto vs Floyd, and frankly I would like to see it, I think it would be slightly competitive with Floyd winning a UD...but at the end of the day Bob Arum isn't doing it. He simply isn't going to risk Cotto looking really bad against Floyd and potentially losing money on fights he could put Cotto in for the near future where he would be much more competitive.

On another note it really is shocking that some of you guys just refuse to see what Arum is doing here. I mean you really think it is just coincidence that Floyd hasn't fought ONE Top Rank fighter since leaving Arum. Oh that's right, Floyd is just scared of all the Top Rank fighters I remember. I mean give me a f***ing break. Arum used to say Floyd was the greatest fighter he's ever seen (now he says that about Pac) and once Floyd leaves Arum Floyd is just coincidentally "scared" of all of the Top Rank fighters. Don't be blind people.

wouldn't it have been great if Floyd DIDNT leave Top Rank?

the way Arum threw PAC in there against Margarito and Cotto...if Floyd was there, we coulda had a full on round robin of great fights

maybe Floyd saw the writing on the wall and didn't wanna play that?

Because he didn't want the middle man which is bob arum, but you already knew that.

Bro whenever they ask Manny about the fight he says he only wants it because the fans do.. You can tell he don't give a **** about the fight... You got Floyd doing videos pushing for the fight... Floyd clearly really wants the fight... Manny can careless.

that was way back now at this point in time he is a different fighter who was damaged really bad by margs and pac, he didnt look good against mayorga either, cotto is a warrior he should just call it a career, i would love to see him fight martinez at 154 but i just dont see him winning, he might have a better chance against canelo and jccjr
