one thing though, Marquez is yet to fight and win against Diaz before he fights Pac. (hopefully he does).

yo *******s those guys may of won fights but clearly they were against nobodies, you ****** *******s need to stop trying to re-write history as your only fooling yourselves pac will never fight anyone of note coming off a SIGNIFICANT win , as in a win against a top elite grade 1 guy, hell never fight a martinez, but if martinez gets knocked out tomorrow then takes a crappy fight and wins, then pac will fight him thats pacs m.o., he never fights legitimate threats only washed- up coming- off- of devastating defeats, has-been bums, with a faded name. pac didnt make foty in 2010 for the EXACT same reason he wont make it in 2011 , BECAUSE HIS HAND_PICKED OPPOSITION SUX! and he chooses them arum handpicks the most beatable bums and pac choses the worst of them its totally on pac if he wanted to fight someone great he would!!!

"miguel bending too low" was just a myopic observation of steward...the fact is that cotto avoided to engaged pacquiao after feeling his power. pac has tremendous speed he can't contain...cotto backpedalled starting round six because he knew very well that pac's speed is something different...

if steward thinks cotto can get even with pacquiao with him in cotto's corner is just any trainer's opinion...

cotto has no chance of beating pacquiao either in 147 or 154lbs...steward should set his eyes on martinez...

i may be part of a minority on this, but i don't think cotto is capable going evenly toe-to-toe against martinez.... at this point.

i'd rather see cotto at 147 and get a win or two more before committing to 154. his last outing against Yuri foreman at 154 wasn't quite convincing. but that's just my opinion.

I have all the respect in the world for Cotto but he can't win any of those fights you mentioned. Pac is a pointless fight, Ortiz is too strong and young for him and Angulo would give him the style that Margarito brings and that's not a good one for him.

I wanted to see Cotto vs Marg but it looks like that's not happening so I think Cotto vs JCC jr or Canelo would be better.

Cotto won his fight before Pac.
Hatton won his fight before Pac.
DLH won his fight before Pac.
Diaz won his fight before Pac.
Marquez won both of his fights before Pac.

I can do this all day if you can't read Boxrec yourself.

1. It was Michael Jennings and then a closed fight vs Clottey.(He didn't look his best)
2. Lazcano which Hatton struggle and Paulie.(Paulie couldnt keep Hatton off him)
3 DLH beat Forbes which DLH looked like Forbes beat the crap out of him by the end of the fight.
4.Diaz win vs a shot Morales and then a nobody.
They all won their last fights but look the opposition and how they struggle in the step up.

You guys are morons if you think Cotto wants to fight Ortiz or Angulo over Pac. Cotto said he wants to retire in the next year or two and hes looking to cash out.

Its simple, he will make more in 1 fight against Pac than 10 fights against Ortiz and Angulo combined.
