Cotto has a chance, he did do well the first 3 rounds then he started crouching, thats when it all crumbled. If he can manage to not lean in and attack the body he has a shot of winnig. But that's much easier said than done with Mr. Juiceman aka pacroid. I just think no one beats pacroid until he gets of the strength enhancers

That's the thing, Cotto's stance is to crouch forward which leaves him vulnerable to uppercuts. I agree that Cotto did better early on than given credit for, but he still doesn't have the arsenal to beat Pacquiao, the fact that he needs to be flat to throw a punch, that he's one-handed...I can't see what else he can do

Seen the fight recently and it's almost as if his right hand served no purpose.

        Cotto wants a 2nd beatdown???

Cotto is\was a warrior but he can't compete with Pacman... Pacman will put him to sleep badly... I like Ortiz but he does not have what it takes to beat Pacman either.. Ortiz's chin will fail him badly against Pacman.. and Pacman is no Berto who would be scared to pull the trigger under pressure... Pacman thrives under pressure and once he hurts Ortiz, it will be lights out for Ortiz. I think Bradley would make it more interesting but does not have the heavy hands required to put a dent on Pacman.. Bradley is a solid light welter...but I Still see Pacman victorious. Canelo is VERY solid but is still developing, the kid is only 20yrs old. Gayweather is still running for his life!!

Pac is the biggest payday in boxing right now, that's why everyone (well you know) wants to fight him. I would love to see Cotto against Ortiz @ 147 or maybe Angulo at 154. Forget Pac man.

I have all the respect in the world for Cotto but he can't win any of those fights you mentioned. Pac is a pointless fight, Ortiz is too strong and young for him and Angulo would give him the style that Margarito brings and that's not a good one for him.

I wanted to see Cotto vs Marg but it looks like that's not happening so I think Cotto vs JCC jr or Canelo would be better.

You guys are morons if you think Cotto wants to fight Ortiz or Angulo over Pac. Cotto said he wants to retire in the next year or two and hes looking to cash out.

Its simple, he will make more in 1 fight against Pac than 10 fights against Ortiz and Angulo combined.

Cotto won his fight before Pac.
Hatton won his fight before Pac.
DLH won his fight before Pac.
Diaz won his fight before Pac.
Marquez won both of his fights before Pac.

I can do this all day if you can't read Boxrec yourself.

excellent post! i'm gonna save this for the next jerk of makes that same ****** comment about Pac fighting those coming off a loss.

one thing though, Marquez is yet to fight and win against Diaz before he fights Pac. (hopefully he does).
