Why is their a catchweight? I think its ******, i know Marquez is the smaller fighter but it should be at 147 limit.

I hope pac has people he can really trust making deals on his behalf. He making a lot of money and if a little lose change is lost with all the money he makes he wont even notice.

Catchweights are part of boxing, part of boxing history. Don't know why so many idiots are complaining. If it was at 147 Pacquiao would get criticised even more for trying to drag Marquez up there. Marquez asked for the catchweight, if you're going to be consistent in your hate direct it at him. Pacquaio is the one who made the concession. This way Marquez won't have to worry about what weight Pacquiao will come in at, it will be 144, and it gaurantees there won't be too much of a weight disparity between the fighters. These are the type of fights catchweights are made for.

Pacquiao's camp calls the shots. They fight at 147. The 144 Catchweight is in Marquez's favor. They'd probably be around the same weight on fight night anyway.

Its not the same. When he fought Floyd at that weight he had never been at that weight before so nobody not even Floyd knew what to expect from Marquez. Now the whole world knows Marquez doesn't look good at that weight, including pac.
