    True or true?
Simply compare his fight night weight with Oscar to his weight with Marquez.

People need to stop camping the OLH & Marquez fight weights, they were over 2 years apart, your body changes.

how can it be a fact when you yourself says its PROBABLE?

you're basically saying maybe floyd's not allowing himself to be weight had nothing to do with their weight disparity.

The weight had little to do with the boxing lesson... So What's the point?

Exactly, not only were they over 2 years apart but there was also a 16 month layoff between them as well.

Either way, what does it matter how much he weighed on fight night? Nobody should care about fight night weight. It's all irrelevant, that's why is called "UNOFFICIAL" and there are no rules to how you can weigh-in. That's why I don't care why people make such a big deal about it.

Exactly, I would understand if Mayweather went out there and used his size and power to overwelm Marquez, but what he did was completely outbox Marquez. At any weight i see the same outcome, don't forget that Mayweather was much better at the lower weights himself.

Well we do have weight-class for a reason. JMM limit is 135, he's ineffective above that weight. It was a tune up when Floyd fought him, is a tune up for Pac as well. The only difference is that this will be Pac 3 or 4 tune ups in a row. How man more garbage tune ups is he going to take?

Because he was inactive doesn't necessarily mean weight again. He trains every day. He takes conditioning very seriously.

I do believe that weight difference in fact affected the way the fight went ... Not that I'm saying that if both were the same weight JMM would've won, because I really don't know, but weight difference definitely had an effect on the fight.

Floyd was better that night, no doubt about it, but then we go again to the same point that's been mentioned in other threads, which is: why doesn't Floyd fight with Martinez? Just as an example of course. Well, weight makes a difference. If for example they fight at 154 pounds, Martinez would be way heavier during the fight night, and that makes a great difference, especially when fighting against top notch boxers.
