I don't know if he was 158 pounds or not, but he was way heavier than JMM.
The fight was supposed to happen at 144, but Marquez was just 142, so we must asume that he couldn't pack on more weight at the time of that fight. Yeah, JMM may be heavier now, but people should realize that fight was 2 years ago and that most of the times as a boxer gets older, he also gets heavier.

Regarding Floyd, he weighted 146 pounds, so in that case we must asume that he couldn't get to 144, so that means he was dehydrated, and at the time of the fight he should have been about 156-158 pounds.

Some people say that 158 is way too much weight for Floyd, but remember than when he fought against De la Hoya he weighted 150 pounds, that menas his body could get some weight on. And also, at the time he got JMM, he was coming from 2 inactivity years, so I do believe that he was 156-158 pounds at the time of the fight.

158 no, but 154 yes. The days of floyd coming in at welterweight on fight night like he did in his early days at welter are LONG GONE.

There's a reason why he did not allow HBO to weigh him on fight night.

this thread is about questioning floyd's weight WHEN HE FOUGHT MARQUEZ.

are you actually trying to act dumb or does this come naturally to you?

I love how you use the weigh in weight for Marquez and the weight you think Mayweather was, the day of the fight for this question. Bias much?

Did you saw that fight? He looked bigger than in his previous fights, and WAY BIGGER than JMM on that night. 158 is too much? Yeah for me that was the heavier he could've been that night, but 156 sounds pretty reasonable from what I saw and because of the circumstances. If he hadn't come back from retirement I would've never said 156, but he did, so I think he was heavier than in all his previous fights.

Stop hatin? Why does when anybody says anything that they don't like about another boxer that they like then they says it's "hating"? Man...

JMM weighed 141 on fight night against Pacquiao, you telling me he only weighed 142 against Mayweather when he looked a lot heavier than usual?

no ur the idiot. u make it seem like he did something out of the ordinary when he fought marquez. what he did was quite ordinary for him. so ur hypo that he did it to hide his weight against a smaller fighter is just plan ******. if u cant understand that then dont waste my time.
