In any Marquez/Pac fight, weight issues don't play a role in it. It's the style match up that does. Truth is, weight advantage is overrated sometimes. Pac's very own recent fights confirm this. It's the style that made Manny won those fights.

In this case, Marquez is a bad style match up for Pac. Marquez will always give Pac problems as Marquez is one of the best counterpunchers you'll ever see in the ring. He can counter any Pac punch with extreme precision and speed even if those Pac's punches land their targets.

Mayweather, of course, is one of the best counterpunchers in the sport, if not the best. But Pac would more likely take a risk on Marquez than Floyd because the latter has longer reach and is bigger, thus difficult for Pac to reach.

Weight is not an issue in this fight, imho.

Don't get me wrong, I wish the fight was @ 140 but 144 is better than 147. Neither man has to cut weight and after full re-hydration there should only be a few pounds different, last fight JMM was at 145 and Pac was 147, not that big of a deal.

                    Who's Floyd fighting again?!?

NO it doesn't. It reminds me that Pacquiao wouldn't fight him before and is fighting him now after He is less than He was. He waited for Marquez to slow down and I hope it backfires on his azz.
