The latest news surrounding Antonio Margarito hasn't been the kindest as the former welterweight champion very well could be seeing his career coming to a premature ending. Margarito suffered a broken orbital bone and a possible detached retina in his last fight, a one-sided points loss to Manny Pacquiao last November, and is set to be seeing a specialist sometime this week to determine how severe the injury is.

I agree with Bert, just because things played out like they had, doesn't mean they're connected. Whether Margarito did cheat before Mosley, is speculation, whether it was Margarito who wanted his hands wrapped with an illegal substance or Capetillo is, again, speculation (nonetheless, wrong). But staying on topic, I think it's very unfortunate that this happened, or could be. Put aside Margarito's troubles, he was a very entertaining fighter and more importantly, he's still a man - seeing something like this happen to any fighter, sucks. There are too many angles to a story like this, to just keep it simple; for a person who just wanted to entertain and fight so that he can provide food to his family, I can only hope him a full recovery. I'd like to see him back in the ring, without a question.
