Antonio Tarver: Was He Ever That Great?

Where is Forrest BTW?It's like he pulled a Floyd Patterson and is in hiding after losing twice to Mayorga.Who knows,if Tarver loses in the rematch,we may never see Tarver again(wouldn't be a bad thing )

Onto the subject Tarver is good but i think it's prob more to do with his style for Jones, and age creeping up on jones, and Johnson is on a roll at the minute, even his losing fights he's pushed the opponant all the way sometimes robbed of a win too so he's better than the record suggests, prob only got 4 true losses

exactly good but not great.

tarver was not ever great....his punch output is weak......and he just covers up ....tarver is one of those fighters that are hard t olook good against and he is a power puncher......but he can be outboxed

Johnson sure made him look mediocre last night...It's kind of the same with how people said Roy Jones Jr. fought nothing but stiffs his whole career. I mean I don't think they were all A-class fighters, but alot of times, if someone isn't established, you fight them and deliver a dominating performance...they're going to say the person was never good.
