I think Antonio Tarver is nothing more than a good lightheavyweight with charisma and a big mouth. I don't think he was ever that great though, I think people went overboard when he beat a Roy Jones. This is why he beat Jones:
A.) his style and rangy southpaw stance makes him hard to hit for Roy Jones.
B.)Roy doesn't have the reflexes anymore so Tarver being a good counter puncher just waited to hit Jones on his chin(jones always had a bad chin, its just no one ever exposed it until Tarver)
Bottomline in my opinion is that Tarver's style is just a bad style for Roy Jones, but against someone else Tarver's nothing more than average. Look at last night Johnson didn't have a glass jaw and he took Tarvers best shots, I don't think Tarver hits as hard as people say. When Roy beat Tarver the first time he should have never gave him a rematch because Tarver's style is all wrong for R.J.
