A slight speed deficit and some range is all Dirrell has in his favor over Ward. That and maybe a little extra pop in his punches when he dares to sit down on them. It wouldn't be nearly enough against Ward, who has so many wrinkles and subtleties to his game, so many tangibles and intanglibles, and who holds so many aces over Dirrell, which I've listed at length in the past here, that it's not even funny.
