Carl Froch and Lucian Bute are both better P4P than Andre Ward

I believe Ward to be the Best super middle. I know we compare fighters and their fights for something to talk about and debate, but you are just splitting hairs comparing wards and Froch performance against AA, they both dominated, flat out. I'm not a fan of Froch in no way but I respect his game. Ward is above him p4p there should be no arguing that, if Froch had beat Kessler you would have that argument for Froch, but considering their Resumes are so close, you goto overall boxing ability and Ward>> Froch and they are both more technically sound than Bute, and both Beat him. Its not completely Butes fault he has no one to face, but Pascal is only one weight class away, there is Allen green, Johnson before he got into the super 6, Kessler is available, Pavlik is now. Why didn't Bute join the super 6???

Yes, I rank Froch ahead of Ward P4P. Froch has meaninfgul wins over Jean Pascal, Art Abraham (better than Ward did, btw), Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell. And of course a close loss to Kessler.

Ward has meaningful wins over Abraham, Kessler, Bika, Miranda (I dont consider Allan Green "meaningful", even Miranda is iffy but Ill include him).

So in terms of WINS, Carl Froch by far is ahead of Ward. That has a lot to do with beating Jean Pascal. Carl Froch W 12 Jean Pascal makes an excellent case for Froch on the P4P list.

Froch beating Pascal is better than anything Ward has ever done.

So P4P, yes Froch is above Ward.

Bute is a different story, I love BUte's style, he has tremendous talent and to be honest Id favour him to beat Ward. However, Bute simply hasn;t faced the quality of opposition of either Ward or Froch. So I dont think his achievements merit a top15 P4P rankings.

Beating Kessler will do well for Bute. Its about time Bute got a big fight. The Bika, Miranda wins are nice, but lets see him fight Ward, Froch, Kessler etc.

I prefer Bute to Ward, and in a fight I would favour Bute. I think Bute is a better fighter.

However, P4P based on achievement, the simple fact is that Bute hasn't fought and beat the level of opposition Ward has. So P4P I would rate Ward higher.

In any case, Carl Froch has the most impressive resume in boxing in the last year and a half. He is a P4P staple. Its ridiculous he's not rated top10 P4P by RING.

Actually that is untrue.

Abraham was able to land much more punches against Ward, and I thought Abraham won 3, maybe even 4 rounds.

I dont think Abraham won a single round against Froch. And I dont recall Abraham landing a single meaningful punch (actually he landed maybe one hook in the last round against Froch).

To be honest I was surprised at how easy Abraham was able to hit Ward. Abraham was certainly in the fight, and landed a good amount of punches.

ward is way overrated at this stage and i can understand why. american fans are bigging him up and hopefully they get behind him as america needs stars. he's been effective so far but looking at his overall skills, he really aint got it.

he's lucky the lineup of fighters he's faced thus far. dirrell would have beat him comfortably imo. froch should beat him.

I think its absurd to rank someone outside the super six ahead of those in the tournament. Bute hasnt fought anybody as good as Abraham, Direll or Kessler...and thats only par for the course in the S6.

His latest win was over Magee! A guy Froch sparked ages ago. I dont see the logic ranking him above Froch & Ward.

When i seen the title i already knew you were going to try some ridiculous triangle theory (as always). I was rooting for Abraham against Ward but even you have to admit that he didn't do anything dirty in that fight, he just out classed him badly. This is a mans sport, pain, fouls and illegal tactics sometimes comes with the territory. And the fact that Ward didn't KO Miranda is irrelevant, did you see how many times Miranda hit Bute in that first round? Ward isn't a puncher, that's the only reason.

NOBODY, and that is the reason why i think he will get exposed by tougher comp and why I'm shocked people try to rank him number one. Froch would KO him, and Ward would out box him. He was already KO'ed by Andrade.
