he could have done this months before the mosley/pac fight and simply say he wants pac, win or lose.

Couldn't agree more. Put simply, if Floyd is really interested he could even have stopped the Margarito and Mosley fights by simply being active in the second negotiation. Instead, he went on a loong vacation and acted like he is the center of the universe he couldn't be bothered.

If there's something Pac has over Floyd, his shirts blow Floyd's in the water. Can't he spend a little more money on his shirts? They look like those shirts you buy at a community picnic or something. Floyd should get Reebok to do some shirts.

I'm not claiming Floyd didnt put ink to paper. All i'm saying is signing a contract for terms that BOTH parties agreed to is very different from signing your name on terms only YOU agreed to. Floyd is making it seem as if both parties came to an agreement when all of a sudden Pac pulled out and refused to sign. Truth is, they never came to an agreement on a cutoff date. At the time, Floyd wanted 14 days while Pac wanted 21 days.

AT&T and Reebok confirmed they no longer have business relationships with Mayweather, who rocked the boxing world with a 10-minute Internet video diatribe against Pacquiao in which he made racist and ****phobic remarks. Reebok spokesman Daniel Sarro said the contract between Mayweather and his company expired after his May 1 fight against Shane Mosley and was not renewed.

"Reebok does not currently have an endorsement contract with Floyd Mayweather Jr.," Sarro said. "We had a relationship with him in 2009 and earlier this year, which was centered around two specific fights."

AT&T spokesman Steve Schwadron said Mayweather's association with his company was limited to a 2009 television commercial.

"AT&T does not have a business relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr.," Schwadron said.

"AT&T does not sponsor Mr. Mayweather".

Did Reebok give him a secret endorsement deal that no one knows about? Are they releasing the Floyd Mayweather Vacation line?

Floyd is in a position where he doesn't have to fight fighters just to fight...With him it either Manny or he will stay on vacation.

It's useless for Floyd to begin new negotiation if the outcome will be the same as the past two. If Manny side wants the fight, the will approach Floyd regarding the test.

It's funny the only sticking point isn't money, gloves, weight, ring-walk....it drug testing....this **** is unheard off.

Again I like both Floyd and Manny, but I would just take the test...the man has tattoos, the needle excuse doesn't fly.

Floyd and Manny on TV, sat down opposite each other, with a mediator between them. One saying that he's willing to fight if the other is willing to be tested. The other confirming that he's willing to be tested. From the horses' mouths so the public can see it.


If we could get that situation, I think we'd get a fight out of it. The public needs to clamor enough to make that happen, though, to make it necessary for both parties to participate.
