Comments Thread For: Carl Froch Breaks Down The DeGale-Groves Showdown

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch recently spoke with BoxingScene.com to give his take on the upcoming clash of unbeatens, between super middleweights James DeGale (10-0, 8KOs) and George Groves (12-0, 10KOs). Their fight takes place this coming Saturday at the O2 Arena in London. As the fight draws near, DeGale is being pushed as the clear favorite to win, but Froch believes the fight is a lot closer and he gives Groves a considerable chance to win.

Twice now? Is this a mistake by Froch or a typo by Reeno?

LOL, it'd be nice if Groves won this. He's proven he has some moxie and he's a nice young man.

I think DeGale should take it, though, if he doesn't get complacent at any point.

Degale reminds me of a british Ward just not nearly as good.

            I'm off the fence.

I want Groves to take him out. As the underdog, and seemingly the victim of a hateful anti-gingerist campaign.

There are people here who actually believe DeGale's going to be beating Ward in a couple years or so.

DeGale looks cute beating on UK domestic fare, but Ward would completely murder him at any time in the future. Completely different classes of fighter.

LMAO. Get over it, mate. A typical Warren paper-titlist is the most DeGale will ever amount to.

He will never possess the levels of versatility and grit of a guy like Ward, and would only be beat down embarrassingly by Dre at any point in the future. That's from someone who's kept tabs on both fighters since their respective ammy days.

LOL @ being called a "bute", you dirty scouse ****.
