Ward Is Very Good, But Is He On The Same Level As Prime Floyd & Roy?

Andre Ward is a WINNER, he a world class fighter no dout, and in my opinion he's the number 168lb'er. But as I sat watching his fight vs Abraham.

I got thinking is he on the level of skills and talent as a prime Roy Jones & Floyd Mayweather? Them two fighters really do some amazing things when at there peak.

I used to sit with my mouth open at some of the things Roy Jones was doing to fighters, same with Floyd.

And although Andre may go onto have similar success, I don't see the same amazing skills, moves, speed, etc that I saw a prime Roy Jones & Floyd Mayweather Jr do.

    Thoughts?

Dirrell is more skilled/talented than Ward if you ask me.

And I don't think we will see guys like Roy, Floyd or Manny anytime soon.

actually the difference is ward is still improving and is lacking those natural physical attributes that make roy and floyd so great...he's fast but he isnt blazing fast, he's got decent power at best and his chin hasnt been tested yet

the thing that panda admires most about ward is he makes up for all of this with his boxing IQ and timing

Well alot of people do belive he is a future P4P #1 and alot do think think he is number #1 at weight division. So he is pretty advanced himself.

He has a bit more to prove to reach the top, but he is starting to reach that phase where he could be considered to be one of the best fighters around even if other guys are ahead in public perception.

A dark horse for best fighter if you will.
