Comments Thread For: Top Rank Still Waiting on Nonito Donaire's Decision

Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, advised the Manila Bulletin that he's "still waiting" for WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire to make a decision on his next move. Donaire was the main figure of a recent promotional tug of war between Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

Donaire is a ****ing Moron, just keep fghting, and then when your contract is really over, then you sign with whom ever the **** he wants!!!

He is killing the buzz he got lately and he is being too inactive.

Goldenboy should front Donaire the money to buy out of his contract.

I agree, but it's hard to keep putting money into the hands of a greedy POS, who insulted and talked **** about you and your wife.

Arum is a piece of shit, but Donaire should've stayed with him instead of kicking up a fuss. It was better for his career.

I don't think Arum has done a good job with Nonito. Inbetween Vic and Pongjonkam he didn't really fight anyone. But I think if he would've stayed with Arum he was about to do pretty well, maybe getting a fight for the SBW title against Arce.

Arum kept Donaire on Pinoy Power and Latin Fury cards for 2-3 years, but Donaire is the one who ****ed up badly?

Arum had to talk **** about him and his wife because of the situation?

Donaire had a right to be unhappy about the situation, which is why he wanted out in the first place, then he gets ****ted on for wanting out. He doesn't have to give in to Arum and make him more money by fighting for him. Since Arum kept him on obscure PPV cards for years, he can afford to sit out another year if he really wants to.
