Ward praised but Pacquiao dissapointed?

What's the difference between the 2 performances? Both pitched a complete shutout against opponents who looked like crap and didnt put up much of a fight. Yet Pac somehow Pac's performance was dismal and dissapointing to the haters while Wards was considered a boxing masterpeice. If anything, Pac's fight with Clottey was more comparable to Ward's against AA where both opponents shelled up and stood still while not doing much. Yet someway somehow Pac even got criticized for that. I dont get it.

Actually the Clottey fight was just a reference.He was talking about Pacman being criticized for last Saturday.The Clottey fight was a decent win.Last Saturday was simply garbage,but not as bad as the Margarito farce.

Fact remains Mosley just Ko'd Margarito,had a tilte & was the highest ranked welterweight when Floyd fought him.When Pacman chose Mosley,he lost bad to Floyd,drew with Mora & was supposed to get ko'd by supposedly boxing's best.

No Mosley did not "just KO'd Margarito" he was just coming off the longest layoff of his career.

However, saying all that. Floyd-Mosley at the time was the best fight that could have been made at WW that didn't involved Pac against either guy. Mosley was a legit opponent and seen a legit threat. A lot changed since that fight. I don't know why people keep acting like Pac fought the same type of thread. He really didn't, he cherry picked and old washed up, shot to pieces recycled fighter.

Aside from Pac dropping Mosley in the 3rd round, the rest of the fight was boring due to Mosleys reluctance to put up a fight.

Abraham was a live dog early and always carried fight changing power, Mosley never tried to win and never seemed capable.

The real reason tho is Manny Pacquaio is held to (along with Floyd Mayweather) a higher standard than the rest of the boxing world and rightly so, these guys are by far the best and are now trying to prove themselves on an All time scale. Pacs been called THE Greatest ever in some corners, that **** puts alot of pressure on a guy to perform aty a seriously high level
