Boring feather fisted Ward can't draw flies. That performance was nothing to brag about. Froch did better against Abraham than Ward did.

He is a complete fighter. He has the whole package except for KO power.

        No surprises there then.

As expected Ward won by UD, but that does not the tell the whole story.

Abraham started well, throwing more punches landed more, comming forward and throwing the jab at the same time, you could argubaly give him the first 3 rounds.

AA done well for those first 3, and changed his style from previous fights, going fowards and using the the jab.

But aftter the 3rd round he stopped this and went back to his old style and his static defense, allowed Ward to dictate the fight, using his own jabs and combos, with some good body shots.

Shame Arthur could not keep up his early work and ask questions of Ward.

It wouldn't be a Ward fight with out some dirty tactics, Ward hit on the break more tha a few time and landed a couple of low blows. But no headbutts, come on Andre, you must be slipping.

        Froch beats Ward for me.

Andre struggled with Abraham's jab and is not a great jab, Froch does have a great jab and a lot more.

But with dodgy officials Stanley Christodoulou anything is possible

Some refs need to have the balls to take a point of Ward.

Bute would get Kesslerd. Ward would bully the **** out of him.

Only way Johnson or Froch will beat Ward is by KO and to be honest...I DON'T THINK ANY OF THEM IS FAST ENOUGH to land a clean enough shot to KO Ward

FORGET EXCITEMENT and being dirty and headbutts, Ward is one of the most complete fighters in Boxing right now...LIKE HIM OR NOT!

I still got love for Abraham I picked him or Ward to win this Tournament before it started, I think he need BOXING TRAINER someone that can teach him more offense to go with that amazing Power and Defense

If Abraham could add maybe a CONSISTENT JAB to setup his Power Punches...HE WOULD BE DEADLY! Also since he is only 5'9 I think he should move down to 160, I think Martinez and Sturm would out-box him as well but at least he WOULDN'T be fight guys who are 6-1 and 6-2
wards quik like but both AA and froch have k,o taylor who is much quiker than ward froch will keep cumin ward dont have enough power to keep him off so we will seee in that fight if wards the real deal finished AA and a past prime kessler dont make him a super star the boy needs to up his A game v a warrior like froch

Andre Ward is well on his way to becoming the greatest Super Middleweight of all time.

All it would take for him is to win this tornument and beat Bute. And he's done it.

              Excellent performance.

I get people saying Ward didn't land through AA's defense, but he forced AA to constantly defend, and he landed plenty as the swelling under AA's eyes afterwards suggested. Ward looked really good tonight, I like how he moved, I liked his combos. Really impressive.

As for Bute...well hey, I want to see any and all combinations of Ward, Froch, Bute, and Dirrell. All day, any day.

WOW S.O.G its more than real IMO should be considered top 5 p4p the guy has the skills of bernard hopkins but with the athleticism of a young guy, i dont see him losing to anybody right now in his division.

There's still some serious comp for Ward at 168 cause U can't count out Bute & if Dirrell wasn't out(I don't know if his problem is really physical or mental) he could have given Ward a hell of a fight & U can't also count out Froch..Froch actually beat Abraham easier than Ward did..

wats funny is the ppl who were saying ward would have trouble because he lacked the power to keep aa off of him are now the same ones ****ting on the win. smh. it was a good win. not suprising but with that said, this wasnt a fight ward chose after aa lost a couple. this was a s-6 fight, he had no choice. no he fights one of 2 really good fighters. after he beats them,as i totally believes he will, itll be interesting to hear the excuses.
