me too. thats why i had a lot of real money riding on it.

he beat peters ass, the 10-7 round was a farce.

fight shoudlve been at least 7 points in wlads favor which is very lopsided.

this isnt black and white TV anymore my friend, dont keep living on the memory of ghosts. wlad has the skills to be a great champion, because his victory wasnt "dramatic" shouldnt take away from the fact.

If he can beat some more TOP HW in DOMINANT fashion I will put him in instantly...

I would have bet real money on it, IF I had some money...(which I dont)

Wladimir, if he gets back to being the machine he was three years ago, is one of the best heavyweights I have seen. Power, skills, stamina(yes, I am referring to the old Wladimir), and an imposing figure. He beat Byrd convincingly but that was 5 years ago. If he captures the IBF belt, avenges the loss to Brewster, and makes some succesful title defenses he will go HOF. Add his charisma and market value and you have a heavyweight version of Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, who was definitely one of the most popular fighters ever as well a one of my favorite boxers of all time.

no, wlad's promoters have pampered this guy through to the top.........he is ****e and he should be ashamed of himself...........winning in such a way over a guy who was so slow, one dimensional, yet powerful.....

i honestly picked wlad to ktfo within 6, but wlad disappointed me big time with his JUST performance and all his holding, clinching, etc.....

if wlad has been "pampered" then all other boxers are wearing "pampers" all ****in day long

he has by far the best resume of victories in the heavyweight division at this point and he is the youngest top contender.

              Yep.

What is sad though, is Ruiz actually has a decent resume also.

Lets keep in mind though. Ruiz was not knocking out these guys.

Nady would have also issued a warning, taken points off, or disqualified Peter for his ILLEGAL punches behind the head.

Wlad now has the confidence and determination, to dominate the heavyweight division, with a "Steel Hammer". Sorry I had to say it But his skill are top notch and his power is very good, now he's the complete package. Chin is still a concern, but his skill overcame chin concerns against a huge puncher. To those who think he put on a Ruiz like performance, the man landed 204 punches and threw more than 500 punches.

i don't know what the fuss is about. wlad did what he needed to do to beat peter and by god he beat him. he didn't knock him out because as we all discovered tonight- peter has a sick chin. and maybe now that he's been taken down a couple of notches he'll get some **** figured out and win some important fights in the future, because he proved his chin. now he just needs to learn how to box a little and stop relying on his frankenstein punches.
