I'm a Cotto fan, but I'm worried that his chin is going to hinder his career.

I don't think it's to do with how hard Torres hits... Because Hatton walked through everything Tszyu had to throw at him and I don't believe Torres hits harder than Tszyu.

I couldn't see Cotto walking down Tszyu in the same way.

I thought that the Corley shot was just a lucky punch and Cotto reacted excellently in dealing with it. However, what I saw last night leads me to believe Cotto might have a bit of a problem.

I also say that at least Cotto was still the champion at the end of the night. What about the overrated Vivian Harris getting stopped by Maussa? A guy who makes Mayorga look like a top 3 P4P boxer.

I dont base everything on what hatton has done and will do. Two different fighters. Cotto didnt get ko'ed so his chin seems just fine. And, he can always improve on defense....he's still learning.

Not to take anything away from Tszyu, but he was throwing one punch at a time. The way to beat Hatton is by boxing, throwing combinations, and attacking the body. Cotto can do all of that. Styles make fights and Cotto found a bigger puncher than himslef in Torres. There is always a first time for everything. Give Cotto a break and you will see some adjustments next time.

Cotto's performance was ight. He fought a hard hitter that had 2-3 weeks notice to fight! Cmon.....I bet Torres wan't totally focused and prepared. A rematch could be different in ma opinion wit a well prepared Torres.

Cotto gets hurt lots of times. I think at tis time, if he fights Tszyu, he gets KOed. Tszyu even at tis stage has that amazing power that can truly hurt Cotto.

Cotto holds his hands so high that Hatton just needs to consistently go to the body and force Cotto to have to think about dropping his hands, and the constant volume of pressure that Hatton would put on him would pose a real problem unless Cotto can successfully counterpunch his way to fend off Hattons relentless pressure.

Well... I still think Cotto's got a bit of a problem on his hands.

I've been so high on Cotto for years... I've even predicted that he'd beat Ricky Hatton, (AND I'M A MASSIVE HATTON FAN!!! ) but what I watched last night has shifted my way of thinking about Cotto.

I still think he's an excellent boxer with devistating power, but I reckon he's got a problem with his whiskers, and someone's gonna knock him out sooner or later.
