American boxing agent Sampson Lewkowicz, spoke with BoxingScene.com/NotiFight.com about middleweight king Sergio Martinez. Lewkowicz confirms BoxingScene's report from last week, that Martinez is scheduled to return on October 1 - on HBO. Martinez will face one of two opponents. He will either take on WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik - if the German boxer defeats Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 4, or he will face the WBC' mandatory middleweight challenger - Marco Antonio Rubio - who recently knocked out the undefeated David Lemieux.

I would like to see Sergio fight Arthur Abraham after the super six is over for him, which will probably be this weekend. Would be a good fight at middleweight which is AA's natural weight anyway. As for Chavez jr, did anyone really expect him to fight Martinez?

Man it sucks Sergio can't find a fight at MW he wants, but he's gotta at least try calling out some dudes. Fight Danny Jacobs in Madison Square Garden if you don't wanna try to make a fight with Pirog. You got some big money to be made (well, for Sergio) with Bute up in Canada. You and your manager are trying to find the easiest opponent for the most possible loot. I swear they have formula's for that ****. . .

Sergio should call floyd out for a fight at 154 that would be an awsome fight which i think martinez would win. Otherwise why not try for a unification fight with felix sturm?

Martinez is just in a bad spot. He wants that big fight and there is just no one there. When people are telling him to fight zbik, rubio or pirog, you know its a weak division.
