It takes a great fast & skill fighter like Pacquiao for Roach's gameplans to work. Chavez jr lacks at a whole bunch of things. Damn, you really hate Puerto Rican fighters don't you? You seem to be quick to put down a proven great fighter in Cotto but quick to hype up an unproven Chavez jr. LOL. SMH.

I see they've switched his opponent from Wladimir to Valuev.

Looks like he's taking boxing serious. It's pretty well known he was pushed into the sport and didn't love it before. Looks like he might be starting to come around.

Chavez Jr.'s victory over the German world champion is going to be 10 times better than Canelo winning against Hatton. It is a fact to me. At least, Chavez Jr. is fighting a legitimate champion in the Middleweight division. No catchweight to talk about and no cherry picking of opponents. Sebastian Zbik is still a legitimate champion and the guy is only 29 years old too. Chavez Jr. is 25 years old, so a 4 year difference.

Chavez Jr. needs to win. It'll be a better feather in his cap and he can brag better against Canelo too.

Why the hell does he always punch up when he's shadow boxing?

Lot of fighters do it, particularly mexicans. It's just a way to make training a little harder so when you throw them more level it feels easier.

Ariza and Freddie are doing a great job with Julio, it was about time to take his career seriously and get out of Culiacan and get better training and World Class sparring.

I can't wait for the results, for the Lyell fight Roach only work with Julio for 2 weeks and a half and it showed.

The longer camp he has had with Roach was for the Duddy fight, and that was the best performance of his career, and the Zbik fight will give him lots of experience for the Cotto fight
