its over for margarito! what he did cant be forgiven but i will always give him respect for how hard he fought against pac even though it hurt him badly but he proved something there!
now if you leave the hand wrap scandal aside for a second! Just for a second and you can say he had very good carrer!
Anyways maybe this was his sacrafice in the pac fight and he left it all in the ring that night! Thats how i will try to remember him! A true warrior!
    Good luck margarito!

Besides Cotto who did he beat? A very, very young Sergio Martinez and... the only reason the guy had a career was because he had to cheat in his most well known win.

Even though I have almost no respect for Margarito, I don’t want to see him or any other boxer permanently injured or maimed. I hope he heeds his doctor’s advice and steps away from the sport.

There is a very good likelihood that there will be no return match between Cotto and Antonio Margarito, as Margarito may have suffered a career-ending eye injury against Pacquiao in November. Arum would like to send him to a specialist. "If they ever settle down and let me arrange for them to go to Utah to see Dr. Alan Crandall, we’d know. He has been told by a doctor that examined him that he should never fight again. Now, I want to see what the Moran Eye Institute in Utah has to say, whether they can do any corrective surgery. I don’t know; I’m not a doctor."
