COtto vs Torres - Cotto's worst performance i've ever seen. he fought so ****** i felt like slapping him. dont u guys hate it when one of ur favourite fighters fights like an idiot. his corner was telling him - DONT TRADE U DUMASS. whenever he did that he got in trouble. he was squaring up to. when he fought smart he hammeered the guy

torres can come back, excellent fighter, and exciting.

NOW THE MAIN EVENT
peter - a durable iron chinned fighter with power. however, with that being said, no boxing skills, or defence. styles makes fights. n if he cant KO wlad, hes not going to be able to beat byrd, brewster, toney (well i hate him so i dont give a ****), vitali n those guys.

wlad was good for his style. but he couldn't get thru.

wlad - he HAS GOTTA get respect for this fight. he did what he had to do fought how he had to. peter was telling him to trade. saying be a man w/e, but honestly, hes trying to win the fight, not impress the opponent. he fought PERFECTLY. and his stamina issue IMO should be resolved. he went 12 rounds. threw i belive like 400 punches? sumin like that right? anyway, landed over 200... very good.

now the KD's. IMO at least 2 of them were behind the head. the 2nd KD in round 5, IMO was fatigue/cause of the first one. IMO peters best shot was in round 3, when he landed that left hook. but wlad took taht punch. so im not saying his chin issue is resolved, but IMO it has shown a + sign to it.

now the ref- ****in idiot, he wasn't favouriing anyone, was jus a dumass. peter landed WAY too much behind the head. but since he wasn't warned, hell continue doing it, which is not exactly ******, but not u know..... safe, since it IS illegal. also about the holding issue, i think that wlad was following his game plan , cuz **** we know ruiz does sOOOOOO much more then he did, n only once has he been deducted of anything. i woudl give a warning, jus a casual liek "watch the holding" at least. but point deductions, no....

anyway guys i want u to reply plz, ur opinions (not bashing, smart ppl plz), and views o nthis is important to me

pretty much what i wanted to add in my thread, although im not gonna be so hard on cotto though, he didnt get KO'd and he can survive well but that **** has got to stop or hatton will maul him, and i cant wait for cotto to start hitting mayweathers body and making him cry like a *****

Cotto is definetly not as good as he is perceived. Torres just lost his stamina after round 2 and coulden't finish Cotto. Mayweather can probably KO Cotto within 3 and Hatton can definetly take him on. Cotto vs Tszyu should be set up now, don't know if Tszyu will take it and it probably wont happen but who else is there for Cotto to fight at 140 thats a top contender? Not many. Torres who has a bum record and has only fought 6 fighters with winning records staggered Cotto and hurt him so bad. So did chop chop. Cotto obviously lost so much credibility over his last 2 fights and I hope his promoter rethinks his strategy because its obvious he no longer can hold himself together in the ring once he fights the top guns like Mayweather and Hatton; who won't fight him at this point because there is no cash with Cotto's name at all.

He failed the chin question. Had good stamina.

But he tore it all down by fighting scared.

I wouoldn't say that, cotto just fought like a moron and paid for it in some instances. This could have easily been a UD if he had been smart.

The only thing Wlad tore down was that big gorilla looking thing named sam peter. What kind of a boxing fan are you if you can't respect how smart a fighter fights. It's called boxing not brawling, just face it, your guy got his ass kicked in the purest form by a brilliant fighter, that's it you don't ahev to ***** about it.

ur cotto part is good i agree with u on that.

u said he faile dthe chin ?... but IMO 2 of them were behind the head (KD's) and the last one was jus good punching and wlad getting tired.
IMO peters BEST punch was in the 3rd when he landed the left hook, which wlad took.

IMO he didn't fight scared, he might've been nervous, but he fought smart
