of course they are going to say that dumbass, they are trying to secure a 3rd fight which will make them millions. People have already seen Marquez fight at that weight and he was slow as hell, he even said it himself PLENTY of times in interviews that its too much weight for him to carry.

haha ive been saying this all along - manny and marquez will weigh the same on fight night, whereas mayweather had upwards of ten pounds on marquez on fight night. marquez weighed in at 148, and I bet mayweather was every bit of 160

I have doubts that is the real prboxingcoto that guys frustrations went deep there were no set of circumstances no matter how farfetched that would let him cheer a mexican fighter

          Easy fight for Pac.

Hopefully the odds aren't too high when I put down money.

any idiot that watched the fight could see that weight wasnt a factor at all. jmm and nacho r just bitter that they couldnt pull the same draining tactics as pacq. shyt backfired and they should blame their promoter who sold them out. u never heard pbf state that the fight was at 144. Every question about the weight he replied that it was a ww fight for a reason.

jmm got beat becuz he is the lesser fighter. period! now stfu and go an sell ur soul to arum idiot.

The biggest fight GBP can offer Marquez is against Khan. And that ppv would struggle to sell more than 100k. Pac sells 1 million PPVS without breaking a sweat.
Marquez-Diaz II sold over 200K (reportedly half of the revenue goes to GBP and the fighters and you have over $5M), a fight between Marquez and Ortiz could garner 200-350K ($5-8.75M), without counting revenue from attendance, sponsors, international television, etc.

Marquez-Khan could garner a similar number of the same, but that's not including the British PPV $, which could be substantial.

The real problem for GBP might be that $10M guarantee if he wins the Pacquiao fight.

I won't endorse this fight, its a mismatch. I hope the boxing commission won't let this fight go through.

actually, while mayweather would have prevailed weight notwithstanding, the weight played a part in how the fight played out. for example, marquez tags mayweather cleanly and everytime mayweather doesn't even budge or wince. had mayweather not had the size advantage, he would have to be more weary about marquez's punches.

i still don't see why mayweather couldn't come down two more pounds? it makes no sense for him to piss money away for 2 pounds. UNLESS, he really was genuinely struggling to make it just to 146, and he didn't want to risk not fully rehydtating and sacrificing chin/punch resistance, and stamina
